Where we began – two losses, medication & failed IUI
By the time FemaSeed came into the picture, Aslyn and her partner had already walked through natural conception, loss, medication and an IUI cycle.
“My partner and I had been trying to conceive, and we had gotten pregnant naturally twice,” she shares.
“Unfortunately, the first pregnancy ended in an ectopic pregnancy and the second ended in a miscarriage, which was really difficult for us both.

“The first time we did it, it was a little bit painful but everyone, including ourselves, were learning,” Aslyn tells us.
“The second time, our NP at CNY Fertility knew how to calm me and used some topical lidocaine to make me more comfortable. It was much easier on my body.”

“It honestly wasn’t until we got the positive pregnancy test that we knew for sure that things had worked out,” shares Aslyn.
“We had experienced so much loss and so many failures that we were in a bit of a defeated mode, but we were so incredibly thankful to know it worked. Now I’m seven months pregnant with our first child and could not be happier.”
Now, in 2026 at seven months pregnant, she’s able to look back at that decision to try intratubal insemination and see it as the turning point in her fertility story.
